what i was doing was looking for photos of brattle square florist (to put in a cambridge guide for cindy) — not the storefront with its green awnings and white lettering, but something that would convey the heady hothouse interiors, and i find this (mostly) photo blog by a lovely new cambridge resident. her photos of beacon hill and the back bay fens and brookline library and and and make my heart clench with longing. and she knows quite a few cafes i’ve never even heard of!also: the boston calendar. a site for interesting events around that city that are mostly free and underpublicised? this site would have made my first two years a lot happier.
