i saw another, a spore-laced suit that turns you into mushrooms, but i like this one much better. of course, you couldn’t do this in singapore, that is to say you couldn’t be buried in singapore anymore, only cremated (to wrangle a burial place in the sole remaining cemetery would avail you nothing: those graves have to be exhumed every 15 years to make room.) but perhaps one could get nparks on board — they still organise tree plantings regularly: why not allow families to plant burial tree-pods? geoff pakiam suggested that it could even be celebratory: burials by the bay? (and perhaps, if even those forests of the dead (doctor who pun intended) are to go, why not furniture and notepaper for descendants made from those trees?
