so yesterday we give addy a surprise green-themed baby shower, complete with green balloons and green food (ondeh ondeh, pandan tapioca kueh, kiwis and green grapes, salad, and su-lin made a chocolate and spice cake topped with pistachios.

some of it didn’t exactly come off as we’d hoped. as cink tells it elsewhere:

We yelled, surpriiiise!
She jumped a bit, then asked, “What’s the surprise?”
“Oh, it’s your baby shower.”
“Then why are you waving Singapore flags?”
“We don’t have anything else that is festive leh.”
