if anyone wants to know, i have been in seillans, a village perche in the south of france.

~ ~ ~

the little studio i rented on airbnb, a medieval stone house once in ruins and restored by its owners into three quaint spaces.

the view from my room (i was hanging out of my window all the time)

lunch down the hill from the studio, at the marvellous little tilleul citron: panisse (the first time i’ve come across these delicious chickpea griddle cakes) with warm chevre tartine, fig jam, mesclun and a grilled tomato.

the following day i went out to explore the cobbled paths in the village…

… along which many colourful doors

and at the centre of the village, a cafe around a fountain

and when i got closer, olive branch motifs on the table tops.
