My very dear friend Addy, who introduced me to Japanese prints and started me on my own collection 3 years ago, is hosting her first pop-up store to sell contemporary Japanese prints this coming Sunday!

“For this Christmas, we have brought in the masterful etchings of Tanaka Ryohei, the seriously cool silkscreens of Tsubota Masahiko, the brilliant gold-flecked creations of Tamekane Yoshikatsu and the quintessentially Nippon woodblocks of Ray Morimura.

“This is a small and very tightly edited sale, and most pieces are the only print available on the market, so if you don’t move fast they’ll be gone.

“We’re planning to be at home” with the prints next Sunday afternoon - please still let us know if you’re coming - but you can also call or email us at the above addresses to book your own time.

“Come and learn about the different print techniques and see a sampling of contemporary Japanese masters. For their level of artistry, prints are relatively affordable because they are made in limited editions of multiple copies, which helps to diffuse the cost of each piece. 90% of the pieces in our first sale are less than $900!

Please feel free to share this with other art lovers, and have a wonderful holiday season.
