polls closed 40minutes ago; the boxes are just arriving at the various counting centres. the earliest results, for the smcs, will probably be out after 9.30pm, or so. (my constituency is bound to be one of the first out — we’re small, and the victory margin will be so large no recount will be necessary.) packing and going over to jia’s, who is hosting the election party this year, full of ambivalence still, and general unhappy premonition that i will like my world a little less tomorrow.
