I was looking up something else and came across this Penal Code provision:
Obscene songs294. Whoever, to the annoyance of others —
[…]
(b) sings, recites or utters any obscene song, ballad or words in or near any public place
shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3 months, or with fine, or with both.
Do you suppose Nanny Ogg’s ‘Hedgehog Song’ might be an obscene ballad? L-Space Web has a recording of ten minute version (less of a Hedgehog Song than a Hedgehog Cantata): we can go play it under someone’s window.
