french toast and caramelised bananas, blueberry pancakes, sausages, crispy vimes-style bacon, strawberries and plums, yogurt and home-roasted granola, coffee, homemade soymilk, yuzu sencha, fresh juice of green and red apples and ginger, and salted brownies at the very end: su-lin did most of the cooking. afterwards a gift exchange (i got a lovely cotton scarf from su-lin) and lots of lolling on carpets with board games, and singing, and selfies with silly faces. addy brought two folios of japanese prints left over from her recent pop-up (we agree: gloved hands make anyone look like an expert.) and then
