an unintended consequence of my posting facebook updates on the go about the NEL breakdown was this piece of found poetry:

I walked to orchard from race course road
(this is not a good day to be wearing a
CHEONGSAM) so that I can get to a
mall cab-stand in town. I am now puffing in a queue alas.

i should just say i don’t know why the line breaks came out this way — not using a native facebook app but the mobile brower version, and also my unwieldy phone interface, may have something to do with it. it does scan, somewhat, and then the conspicuous and pretentious enjambment. i mean, i wish to make it very clear that the line breaks are accidental products of mobile technology and have nothing to do with my poetic sensibilities!!!
