which would you choose? not the double storied for me, i think: although ladders are always so appealing — but how would i get a tray of tea up and down? the wooden one is to me the most beautiful, but when one goes to get away one would like to be more secluded, more secreted from the world, and there is just too much glass (i am suddenly reminded of the glass-fronted dining room of a soba restaurant in chiba, years ago, which overlooked a moat of water lotuses.) yet the cork, so beautiful from the outside, would make me feel too much i was in a doll house.
