At the Sundaram Tagore Gallery at Gillman Barracks I came on an Annie Leibovitz photo of a page from Emily Dickinson’s herbarium from the Houghton Library! I love these unexpected encounters with my Cambridge past. A little like the time I was at the National Museum and walked right up to a bell that turned out to be one of the very few bells cast by the Revere Foundry that is outside of the US, having had its home in Singapore more than a century ago.
