Vindicated twice in the same day, by scientific studies debunking ‘moring morality’ (being the idea that early risers have more moral fibre and owls like me are just lazybones) and the hypothesis that mumbling (something else I am much accused of) is not linguistic indifference or moral decay but a kind of strategic phonetic compression much in the way a computer compression algorithm works.
