we’re now into the fourth day of electioneering; no one has made any particularly hitting remarks or any major gaffes yet (apart from a certain comment on mothers so imbecile it’s not even worth repeating), and with the introduction of daily live streaming for all the rallies, my street isn’t even swarming as in previous years despite being next to a major rally site. ho hum.

neither candidate for my constituency has shown up on our street to shake hands and kiss babies yet. perhaps both sides think hougang a foregone conclusion. a random thought: we have never elected a non-teochew speaker yet.
